Design Brief: Preh
WHAT
An ergonomic cutting tool for small vegetables
WHO
People preparing vegetables or fruit
HOW
Ideation, user testing, prototyping, and foam modelling
Ideation
Ideation was used as the first step to understand ergonomic and balanced forms. Drawings were then scaled and used later for working prototypes.

User Testing
Users were asked to try both works-like and looks-like prototypes and evaluate them on a series of standards - fit, function, and form

Users were asked to cut small vegetables with various models and evaluate their level of motion and emitted force exerted on the cutting tool

40%
60%
Further testing concluded which form users preferred based on fit, appearance, and usability
Foam Prototypes
Prototypes were made to gain a better understanding of form, size, and fit.
These models were eventually used for user testing and further ideation
